Team Update: Niamh Philp is now a financial planner

If you’re a client of ours, you’ll know just how important continued professional development is to us as a firm.

This is just one of the reasons we are so proud to tell you that our colleague Niamh Philp has been promoted and is now a financial planner. Congratulations, Niamh!

Read on to learn more about Niamh’s journey to this promotion and what it could mean for you.

Niamh started working with us in 2018 as a paraplanner

Niamh has been working at Fortitude since 2018, when she joined us as a paraplanner. Prior to this, she had worked in financial services for around 18 years in a variety of roles.

As a paraplanner, Niamh supported our existing financial planners in providing the exceptionally high quality of service that you’re used to receiving from us. This included attending client meetings with the planners, conducting research, and writing reports.

Niamh can now provide you with financial planning to help you achieve your goals

After several years of study and training with our team, Niamh can now provide you with personalised financial planning.

In her new role, Niamh could help you to:

  • Work towards your short-, medium-, and long-term goals

  • Plan your retirement and ensure you have enough to live comfortably in future

  • Create an estate plan to pass on your wealth tax-efficiently

  • Protect your income and improve your financial resilience in case of unexpected events.

Whatever your goals or concerns, Niamh can help you to create an effective plan that helps you to fulfil your ambitions.

Just like all our planners, Niamh will continue her study over the coming years

Niamh will continue to work closely with our other planners, as we believe that working together as a team is the best way for us to provide you with a high-quality service.

What’s more, her next steps will be to continue her training. She’s already begun studying to become a Chartered Financial Planner.

Chartered Financial Planner is a prestigious qualification that all our existing planners have achieved. As well as further improving her technical knowledge, this qualification will require Niamh to demonstrate her commitment to upholding the highest standards in client care. This means that you can feel confident that the advice you receive from our planners is based on the most up-to-date research and the highest professional standards.

We look forward to celebrating more of Niamh’s achievements and seeing how she helps more of our clients to achieve their long-term goals in the future.
