Client Support Team Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of suitability reports including preparation of illustrations and application paperwork
  • Ensure that all business applications are processed accurately and efficiently, in a compliant manner to the firm’s standards
  • Ensure fund switches / rebalances are carried out accurately and within company timescales
  • Send letters of authority and gather accurate information
  • Deal with and allocate incoming post
  • Input and maintain accurate client records on the back office system, Platform and other IT systems
  • Organise client meetings
  • Prepare client meeting pack including valuations & supporting paperwork
  • Record, and where appropriate, implement agreed actions in coordination with the Financial Planner
  • Provide an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries, by phone, email and in person
  • Filter general information, queries, phone calls and invitations to Planners by redirecting or taking forward such contact as appropriate
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is maintained as per company procedures
  • Ensure all work is followed up promptly in line with company standards
  • Incorporate the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) into all contact with clients.
  • Other duties as directed by the Board

Personal Specification:


  1. Highly literate and numerate including Maths & English to minimum GCSE (A-C) and ideally A level
  2. Has achieved Financial Services qualifications
  3. Technically competent with Excel, Word and Outlook to intermediate level or higher
  4. Knowledge of and experience with Wrap platforms (preferably Nucleus / Transact)
  5. Able to communicate at all levels
  6. Excellent analytical, organisation, time management and prioritising skills
  7. Excellent attention to detail
  8. Adopts a positive attitude, willing to assist others when busy
  9. Shows initiative and takes personal responsibility for completing tasks
  10. Able to work within defined business processes
